The Artist

Hello, I’m Angela Elise Stober, a ceramic artist and maker based in the forests of northeastern Washington. My studio sits among trees close to the Columbia River, where every season shapes the way I work — from the blues of Columbia, winter snow to the warm clay tones of summer dusk.
I create handcrafted pottery, signs, murals, stain glass, and leatherworks, honestly just to many other things to mention. All that are inspired by the textures and colors of the natural world that surrounds us. My ceramics often feature marbled clay, soft glaze drips, and feelings of nature — each piece meant to feel both grounded and alive in your hands.
I’ve always been drawn to making things that people live with: the mug you reach for every morning, the bowl that becomes part of family meals, or the small handmade piece that makes a room feel personal or an engagement meant meant to expand generations. My work celebrates the simple beauty of imperfect edges and human touch — no two pieces are ever the same.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll probably find me out skiing, working in the greenhouse & garden, or wandering mountain trails with my dogs — all things that quietly find their way back into my work.
Everything I make is designed, shaped, and glazed by hand with care, curiosity, and a bit of Pacific Northwest charm.
I hope to inspire joy as much as it brings me to craft them.
